[4,000 mg/day] * Potassium alginate amino acid detoxifier [525 mg./day] The depressed NA/K ratio may result from a severely sodium restricted diet. More commonly this finding is due to adrenal insufficiency whereby aldosterone is not produced sufficiently to maintain sodium in extracellular fluid. Consider ordering a Ragland's Test for orthostatic hypotension. The lead levels in this patient are far too high. Look closely to urban atmosphere, gasoline additives, machine shops, ceramic glazes, cigarette smoke, hair coloring agents, construction materials, enamels, newsprint, paints, solder, plaster, putty, wines, plating, batteries, printing occupations, insecticides, ammunition, crayons, lead pipes and in the manufacture of glass as possible sources of contamination. * Potassium alginate amino acid detoxifier [525 mg./day] * Prescribe calcium consistant with urine pH. [4,000 mg/day] Marked elevation of arsenic was revealed. Common exposure to this poison is found in insecticides, wine, well water, coal burning, and in seafood (particularly shell fish).
